- We are looking for an experienced Control System Development Engineer
- What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain control system software for medium gas turbine products
- Engineer and configure SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 and PCS 7 control systems
- Design and implement:
- Control logic
- Sequences
- Interlocks
- HMI/Operator Station displays
- Alarm management
- Reporting functions
- Deliver technical solutions within development projects
- Collaborate closely with project managers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Integrate field instrumentation and third-party subsystems
- Configure industrial communication protocols, including:
- Profibus
- Profinet
- Modbus TCP
- OPC
- Perform configuration management, version control, and rigorous system testing
- Apply industry standards for safety, quality, and cybersecurity
- Improve engineering processes and ways of working
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous technical development within the team
- What You Bring
- Extensive experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering
- Strong expertise in:
- SIMATIC SPPA-T3000
- Siemens PCS 7
- Experience developing industrial control system software
- Strong understanding of automation and process control systems
- Ability to read and interpret:
- P&IDs
- Wiring diagrams
- Loop sheets
- Instrument datasheets
- Experience with industrial communication protocols
- Experience with configuration management and software version control
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working in international engineering environments
- Ability to work onsite at least three days per week in Finspång
